Huge improvement in my mood after having a really nice dream on sunday night BUT don't ask me what was it about for I can't even recall a single detail about it. Nevertheless, I woke up in a good form.

Plus, from my previous post, I've been keeping in touch with my senior and our chats are no ordinary ones because a simple sentence from her reply can really make my day

SO much so that one of my friends who just started working there told me another senior I worked with praised me for being one of the most efficient VT's around. It kinda made all my effort worthwhile.

Why bother?

there is a limit as to how much i am capable of tolerating

The reason why I am still holding it in and acting like everything is perfectly fine as it is
is because
I've been in touch with 2 ladies who knows a great deal about me
and
understands them all
but the amazing part is that the distance between me and them
is
6357 km

Even though they are as busy as a bee
there is always a simple email/ FB msg
asking how are u?
or just simply updating me with their life
sitting there waiting for me to reply


Another week till Easter
which means
it's time to have fun with a friend of mine coming all the way from Canberra
Too excited for words at the moment
Finally something enjoyable to look forward to during easter

Retail therapy

A dangerous habit of mine .....

Once I am emo or visibly upset, this is what I generally do

Ipod dock (it was on sale k? reduced from $79 to $29)

All that in 1.5 hours which in total cost me $165

One things for sure, homesick-ness is definitely slowly creeping in and it won't be long before I start crying myself to sleep :) However, come to think of it, the chances of me doing so are quite slim without going unnoticed by roomie.

Someone is busy studying at the moment for her exam so less someone to talk to. We'll just have to postpone it till your exam is over XD

It's just a simple case of going all the way back to first year of uni which also prompted my decision not to stay here after I graduate.

have u ever felt like u don't really have anyone who really understands u even though u're surrounded by good friends?

which is why I am exceptionally attached to my family (rather not dwell on this matter)

Generally I am less frustrated whenever I am back home even though I am overloaded with stressful activities

I had a really bad headache last night and consumed 4 Panadols in total in less that 4 hours. It was that bad!

Even this morning when I woke up late after making a tough decision to miss one of my tute since my headache lingered around for quite a bit. And therefore, I forgot to take out the trash as promised before going for class.
However, right after i returned home, as i slipped the house keys into the front pocket of my denim skirt and rolled up my sleeves to prepare to take out the trash, only to step on the trash can to reveal an EMPTY can. *sigh....* I really need to start doing something productive in the house and not be so forgetful so many times in a day. It is a sign that I am ageing.

Upcoming event

I probably should be sleeping right now since I have a class at 10am tmr morning which means I have to get up at 8.30am followed by another class at 3.15pm plus a dinner session with some college mates. *sigh....*

But before that... I have 1001 things to worry about... Gah! Don't we all LOVE assignments?

Might give this years' Night Market a pass to stay home and do work ! :(

P/S yilee is staying over at her friend's place tonight so I am all alone ... :'( Hopefully PH won't get all lonely tmr night since both of us will be out and thurs too...

hahaha! I was never this busy for my bday !
Thanks for the wonderful and pretty gifts. They were really spot on gifts which I really needed and for some cases badly needed. BUT some of them were too EXPENSIVE ! (*stares at both her hsmates*)

Spot on Examples:

• The lotion and body butter. My skin was on the verge of going all wrinkly from dehydration but not anymore.
• The gift card was for my liquid eyeliner which I've been wanting to get but got delayed due to my ongoing financial crisis.
  
• The jacket which I was also eyeing but knowing me, I usually don't get the stuff I want anyway (probably 90% of the time) because I am too budget-conscious ?
• The notebook to jot down all my agenda since I am getting OLD and forgetful?
• The cakes which were highly unnecessary but some found it highly necessary since they claim I shrink everytime they see me and I should really put on some weight before i completely dissappear.

Although I might not seem super happy or overly excited or look grateful at any point in time but I am really honestly grateful! The egoistic me rarely show my emotions to those around me but I do express it indirectly in my own way :) (Hint: what's my hobby?) XD This is the way I chose to express my gratitude and the BEST way too, I think.

In some cases though, this "activity" might not apply but I have my way of expressing myself :)

On Sunday, Dad asked me how was my bday celebration and all i could say was "fun!". I couldn't really explain how I celebrated my 21st bday since there was a high possibility that I might break down in tears when he asked so sweetly "How was it?" . However, I did remember to thank them for the diamond ring they gave me to which he replied: " You are very much welcome!" I was already in tears at this point. I really miss HOME!

Homesick + happiness + joy + sadness = ???

The big 21

This is gonna be one very very long post so BEWARE! hahaha.
On friday night, I had a pre-bday dinner with my hsmates at Sante in Crown. Buffet actually since I could eat a cow after only consuming cake the whole day.

And after returning home that night, I had to prepare the chocolate cake I made earlier to bring to Clayton the next day. My sneaky lil roommate that goes by the name yilee said she'll be staying over at her friends so she got off at her stop. So upon reaching home, I spent the next 1 hour decorating the cake and as usual, I didn't take note of the time until someone pounded on the door at 12am. The mouse in me (yes laugh your head off Penguin! hahaha) freaked out and yelled for my hsmate. And so I had toopen the door with my other hsmate next to me and in came miss Yilee with a cake and half burnt out sparklers. LOL!
Side note: I always look like that at home with nerdy specs and messed up hair.

And Pei-hua who had to make sure mua doesn't sleep before 12am. How to sleep early when I had so many things to do? >_< Another one responsible for the night of FRIGHT!

The following day itself was my bday which I spent mostly in Clayton/ Glen Waverley. LLP was craving yong tau foo so we went to Glen for lunch. That's chengsu's place at the bottom pic.

Next up was dinner time after having tea at JC's new place. I was uber lazy to take pic so NIL photos for that!
Dinner was at Berth, Docklands and I ordered Lamb Shanks with mash.
